Clover Elite F.C. Programs
At Clover Elite F.C., our programs are designed for youth players who are ready to take their game to the next level. Our top priority is player development—focusing on technical, tactical, physical, and mental growth at every stage.
We offer a clear developmental pathway across four main programs:
Jr. Academy Program
Ages: U9–U10
Fees: $1250
Our Jr. Academy is ideal for young players transitioning from recreational soccer to a more structured and competitive environment. The focus is on individual skill development, not team results.
- 7v7 format
- Compete in the Carolina Champions League (US Club Soccer)
- Minimum of 2 tournaments per season (coach selected)
- Focused training with increased expectations
- Players may be moved between teams based on development needs
Academy Program
Ages: U11–U12
Fees: $1800
The Academy program builds on the Jr. Academy experience, introducing more team-based concepts while continuing to emphasize individual growth.
- 9v9 format (assumed based on age)
- Compete in the Carolina Champions League (US Club Soccer)
- Minimum of 2 tournaments per season
- Balanced focus on individual development and team play
- Player movement between teams as needed for growth
Select Program (U13–U14)
Ages: U13–U14
Fees: $2200
Designed for players ready for competitive play with continued emphasis on development across all areas.
- 11v11 format
- Year-round league play in the Carolina Champions League
- Continued focus on technical, tactical, physical, and mental development
- Players may be moved to different teams based on performance or team needs
Select Program (U14–U16)
Ages: U15–U16
Fees: $2200
This program offers a highly competitive environment, preparing players for high school and beyond.
- Fall season league play (due to spring high school soccer)
- Optional 2–3 local spring tournaments (team decision)
- Practices scheduled around school commitments
- Continued focus on advanced player development
- Player movement between teams based on coach evaluation
National 1 League (U13–U17)
Ages: U13–U17
National 1 League
Carolina Premier Soccer League (CPSL) Program (Formerly NPL/NAL)
2026-2027 Accepted Teams:
U13 Boys: 8/1/2013-7/31/2014
U14 Girls: 8/1/2012- 7/31/2013
U17 Boys: 8/1/2009- 7/31/2010
Teams Still Being Reviewed:
U15 Girls: 8/1/2011-7/31/2012
Fees: $2700
Our CPSL teams represent the highest level of competition at Clover Elite F.C., with both boys and girls teams competing in the new National 1 (N1) League.
N1 is a top-tier, team-based competition platform within US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer, bringing together elite teams from across the country into one unified national structure.
This league provides a clear pathway for top-performing teams to advance into the ECNL Regional League, while also creating future opportunities for our current state-level teams to earn promotion into N1.
Designed for advanced and committed players, this platform challenges athletes to elevate their game in a highly competitive environment—while staying grounded in our core principles of growth and development.

Clover Elite F.C. Tryout Registration: 2026-2027 Season
Registration is now open for Clover Elite F.C. tryouts for the 2026–2027 season!
Players interested in joining Clover Elite F.C., whether new to the club or returning, must register and attend tryouts in order to be considered for team placement. Attending both scheduled tryout sessions is strongly encouraged, as it allows our coaching staff the best opportunity to evaluate each player.
If a player has a scheduling conflict with one of the sessions, please complete the registration and notify the club Registrar.
Tryout Registration Guidelines
- Team selections will be made from the pool of players registered for each specific tryout group. Higher level playing opportunities may be available based on club discretion.
- Please register for only one tryout program. If you plan to attend more than one evaluation opportunity, register for the highest level program you wish to be considered for.
Important Registration Information
- All families must complete registration through the club’s online system. New families may need to create an account before registering.
- Be prepared to upload documentation verifying the player’s date of birth (birth certificate or passport).
Age Group Information
U.S. Youth Soccer has returned to seasonal-year age group divisions for the 2026–2027 season. Players must register within their correct age group. Requests for players to participate in an older age group must receive prior approval from the Director of Coaching.

How to Register:
- Log in to your account at the top right corner of www.CloverEliteFC.com (or create a new one for first-time registrants)
- Click on “My Account”
- The Clover Elite F.C. 2026-2027 Season and appropriate age divisions will show up as “Program Available” under your child’s name.
Please ensure that you select your player’s correct age division at registration. While Clover Elite F.C. reserves the right to combine ages into one team, it is important that during tryouts everyone is registered in their correct age division.
